responsibilities

  • Oversee all aspects of color selection and documentation, working closely with President/CEO and VP

  • Preparation of color renderings and other presentation material using Adobe Creative Suites

  • Assemble color application packages for clients with efficiency and accuracy

  • Assist in assembling physical color material boards for city design review submittals

  • Manage, maintain, and organize color and materials library both physically and digitally

  • Refresh, update and maintain company website using Squarespace

  • Market firm through various social media channels by consistently developing creative content/campaigns

  • Design and develop company marketing materials and email campaigns showcasing new products

  • Initiate and implement new or improved marketing strategies for firm visibility to developers

  • Coordinate weekly scheduling meetings with upper management assisting with projection of Asana Dashboard

  • Plan and organize company social events and holiday parties

PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

The successful candidate will be a team player with a high attention to detail and strong graphic presentation and writing skills. This creative individual will be interested in all phases of residential design with a positive attitude, strong work ethic and sense of humor. Flexibility is a must as the position is not pigeon-holed to one area of expertise - candidate needs to be open minded and willing to take on various responsibilities.

  • Minimum 3-5 years of working as a creative marketing professional and graphic designer

  • Expert with industry-standard design tools: Adobe Creative Suites, AutoCAD and Asana (project management)

  • Have a high-quality aesthetic and eye for good design

  • Proven track record of creating exceptional digital assets and graphics

  • Willingness to hop onto any project task when pressing deadlines require assistance

  • Proficiency is required in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook

  • Excellent organizational and communication skills including coordination with clients and consultants

  • Ability to identify what is important vs urgent and are able to prioritize work while staying organized, meticulous and motivated

  • Team focused attitude with a self-motivated spirit and proven ability to assess the quality of your work, requesting feedback or guidance when necessary

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while prioritizing and handling multiple tasks during various phases of the creative process

  • MUST LIVE IN SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA


NICE TO HAVE

  • Color matching and calibration experience with Canon printers and Adobe programs

  • Proficient in 3D visualization to support design efforts in 3D Studio Max or similar

  • Proficient in Revit modeling and documentation

  • Working knowledge of construction documentation and building codes

  • Ability to produce quick free-hand floor plan and elevation sketches


salary range: $18 - $25 per hour, commensurate with skills and experience
